Sarah Porter-Braun is a serial entrepreneur, neuroscience enthusiast, parenting coach and advocate, and cheerleader of kids.
After 20 years in edTech, online learning, publishing, coaching and supporting startup company teams, Sarah turned her attention to giving parents easier ways to support their kids. Her research into today's adolescent and young adult struggles, parenting, society, and brain development revealed the condition of parents that serves as the catalyst behind her work:
Parents are Well-Intentioned, Under-Prepared, & Under-Supported©
Her research confirmed her impression that despite parents' heroic efforts, the rapidly changing landscape, conflicting and hard-to-access information and tools, and inadequate support has led to a generation of budding adults who report being anxious, hopeless, and struggling to find their footing in this world.
Now she's on a mission to fix that.
Sarah has spent the last twelve years deep in the research, working with parents, experts, educators, and others to figure out the best way to help parents help their kids thrive.
EPICParenting© is her answer - an online platform that makes it easy for parents to be proactive and prepared along their parenting journey.
Ahead of the Curve: The New Science of Parenting a Tween is her first program in this series (but not her first rodeo).
Sarah lives in Boston, MA with her husband, dog, Otis, while watching her two children spread their wings and take their first, wobbly flights.
